The Elafiti Islands make up a wonderful little archipelago just off the coast of Dubrovnik. Perfect for a one day sail!
The main islands in the archipelago are Šipan, Lopud (known for its sandy beaches) and Koločep (home to several pre-Romanesque churches which date back to the 9th and 11th centuries). These three islands are inhabited and have great local restaurants with the freshest seafood, straight from the Adriatic. There are also many uninhabited islands and islets which you can swim to and explore!
