We booked with RCT for our inbound and outbound airport transfers in Zagreb, as well as a day trip to Plitvice. Zdravko, our driver, was always on time and got us where we needed to go. He was a good driver, and was able to answer our questions about Zagreb, Croatia etc. I liked that he did not feel like he needed to talk constantly while we were driving. Gave us time to simply enjoy the scenery, or take a nap :) |

We just got back from our honeymoon and had such an incredible time! Royal Croatian tours really helped us with everything and helped to make everything that much more special! They arranged a sailboat for us, they gave us advice with where to stay and how to organise activities and when we arrived on the boat there was a bottle of champagne! |

It was a fantastic day! Our driver Jean was so nice and Martina (I think that’s her name) was excellent. She shared so much info and the city is beautiful….the sea organ and waterfront area was spectacular. Totally didn’t expect anything like that! The vineyard was also outstanding and the food and wine delicious and the view just beautiful. It was also reassuring to have Jean stay and wait for us during the lunch at the vineyard….that way we didn’t feel stranded. Overall a perfect day. Thank you so much for planning such a special day for us. |

Royal Croatian Tours organised a 7 day sailing tour for my group of friends on the Adriatic. We loved every second of the trip and we're conviced that Croatia is the top destination to visit in the world. Sailing around Croatian islands was stunning. We loved the food and wine, whether it was in a top restaurant or a little shack on the beach, it was all bursting with flavour. Thanks for providing us with a fabulous sailing holiday. The captain Vinko was absolutely brilliant and a great rep for your company. I will recommend you guys on my travel blog and hope to be back one day. |

Ivan, thanks for an amazing tour around Zagreb! It was such a fun day, you were really knowledgeable about the city/region/country and we especially loved Tkalciceva Street and “being a local.” The trip to the open market was also great - especially with all the samples from the vendors (thanks for the translations). The local brewery was also fantastic - we could have stayed there the whole day. You really gave us a unique experience of the city. Also, thanks for planning everything so last minute for us. We’ll definitely recommend your travel agency to anyone visiting Croatia in the future. See you guys around - under the clock! |

Together with a group of 6 friends from our hiking club, we decided to visit Croatia and wanted to spend our vacation as a combo of hiking, sightseeing and enjoying authentic cuisine. After some research, I came across Royal Croatian Tours that helped us develop a program that fit all of our wants, and one we were really happy and excited about.
Sarah was super helpful right from the get-go, and always quick to respond to our requests throughout the planning process. The 10 day trip was excellent!! Everything from transfers, hotels and private tours all went smoothly. Also, the very thoughtful gift basket that was waiting for us at our first hotel was a nice surprise :)
The only obstacle we had was a couple of really hot days, but our guide Jean always had extra water for us and some snacks too. He was great, very experienced and knew so much about the region and where to take us for the best vantage points. One of highlights (besides all the incredible views) was the authentic Croatian “peka" lunch at one of the mountain houses when we hiked Paklenica National Park. I can't remember ever having a meal that delicious in a long time.
The hotels Sarah selected were top notch and we really enjoyed the ones in Split and Dubrovnik which were small, boutique hotels - charming and personable. We want to mention our guide Mario in Dubrovnik as well - so funny and really knowledgeable he made it a great day. We really couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable trip from start to finish.
Thank you so much Royal Croatian Tours, for all of the time and effort you put in to helping us plan our vacation. We never could have put something together like this on our own!

Thank you so much for organizing such an amazing 5 days for us! We did a national park tour and saw Plitvice Lakes, Krka National Park and Paklenica National Park. Those were some of the most incredible sights we've ever seen, we could have explored for another 5 days and never run out of beauty and amazing views. The hotels were perfect and you really made our trip special for us with the welcome pack, the little treats along the way, and the surprise Jean had for my husband and me at the top of the mountain in Paklenica. |

My wife and I spent an incredible honeymoon in Croatia. It was on short notice and yet Sarah from was able to arrange a beautiful trip with so many unique and wonderful experiences. It's always a long journey from Toronto to Europe, and this one was especially challenging with the plane delays.We wanted to say thank you to our driver and guide, Jean, who was very entertaining the whole trip and really took care of us. Such a nice person. Also, thanks for all the little surprises you prepared along the way.
Trogir was the perfect first stop. A gorgeous place to relax and recover. The next day we had a cooking class with Ivana, which was definitively one of my favourite days of the trip. She was great - realyy energetic and fun and it was just a really authentic experience which we wanted to have on our trip.
Our program was very well balanced. We had time to relax and also explore and go on different excursions. The sailing days were amazing and we enjoyed it so much. Damir was an experienced skipper, a real sea shark ☺. He was so accommodating and took us to some coves which were totally peaceful and quiet so we could enjoy some privacy away from the crowds.
Sarah organized some great accommodations for us - we preferred smaller hotels and especially liked Hotel Kazbek in Dubrovnik, we just wished that it was a bit closer to the old town, but Jean organized taxi rides back and forth to the hotel, so it all worked out.
One last thing I should mention that we loved was the bike and wine tasting tour on Hvar Island. That was an amazing experience even though my wife thought that the weather was too hot for cycling. The Zuvela Estate was stunning and the wine was delicious. I would definitely recommend this excursion.

Sarah and her team at Royal Croatian Tours will make you feel like you are travelling to Croatia with a lifelong friend. From our first conversation until we returned to the States, we felt like she constantly had our best interest at heart. It was the best, most personal trip we have taken and we have been to 67 countries across 5 continents.
We wanted a trip that had loads of interactions with the people. She met this goal by helping us attend a local celebration, visit a school, and visit with a family where we shared a meal! We also wanted to learn how to cook Croatian traditional dishes, so this was an amazing experience which checked all of our boxes!

I would like to thank Royal Croatian Tours for the excellent organization of my family’s holiday in Croatia. This specialized agency was recommended to us by our friend who was delighted with her visit to Croatia. From the moment I contacted Sarah, right through to the end of our trip, nothing was too much for them to handle, especially regarding our specific requests for adjustments to our itinerary. I can only give words of thanks for the excellent job they did. I would especially like to commend our driver and guide, Petar, who was nothing but nice, polite and accommodating throughout our trip.
The whole trip would be difficult to describe briefly considering the beauty of Croatia that we experienced during our 10 day visit. We saw so many interesting things, but Plitvice lakes left us speechless. It is an incredible place that we will surely remember for a lifetime. We also had an amazing time during our cooking lessons with Ms. Vlasta in Trogir. She took us to the fish market where we found fresh fish and also we found fruit and vegetables at the local open market where local farmers sell their produce. Ms. Vlasta showed us the magic of Mediterranean cuisine. This day will stay in our memories because she was such an interesting and fun Croatian lady who told us many hilarious local stories.
Lastly, before coming to Croatia we heard all about Dubrovnik and how it’s an old, stunning city. It definitely was stunning, but it was much too busy and crowded for our liking. Maybe we will come again in the off season so that we can enjoy its beauty more peacefully.

Dear Sarah,
Sorry for the delayed response, we needed a few days to adjust back to everyday life in Toronto. All we can say that this was one of our favorite family vacations ever. Everything was professionally organized. The hotels were beautiful (only the one on Hvar had a small room), the driver and our guide, Jean, were professional, vey polite and knowledgeable, and the food was exceptional (we especially loved oysters in Ston) and the countryside was amazing. Our only regret is not staying longer than 7 days because we don't think that was enough time to see everything Croatia has to offer. One of my favorite moments was the sunset in Zadar near the sea organs and wine-tasting in 'Winery Doboković.' Dinner was excellent and the wine was delightful.
Thank you one again for the organization of our holiday in Croatia and we will definitely recommend your agency to our friends.

One of the best, most relaxing vacations we've ever taken. Everything was taken care of for us and we didn't have to worry about a thing, except enjoying some rakija and some sun. What a vacation. Great food, great company, great wine and a great guide. I hope to come back and see some more of this picturesque coastline. Five days went by way too fast.
