Zagreb is surrounded by wine growing regions with many boutique wine makers who take advantage of the rich soil and perfectly sloped hills to produce some of the best Croatian wines.
Take part in a very unique, local experience, off the beaten path. This private tour is a perfect one day trip if you're a wine lover and find yourself in Zagreb! This is a very personal tour, as you'll get to meet the winemakers themselves, try their best wines, and learn about the history of the region and their family-owned vineyards.
After pick up from your accommodation or hotel, you will drive to the well known Plesivica wine road (about an hour from Zagreb). Here you will get to visit two local vineyards where the winemakers will personally present the wine tastings to you. You will sample 4-5 wines at each winery, and snack on a platter of meat and cheese while soaking up the fabulous views of the surrounding vineyards.
